On Thursday, October 31st, parents of 6th-9th grade joined us on a journey around the world at our MYP Cultural Week Expo! Families explored and learned alongside their students from Africa to the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Parents saw firsthand the hard work of their children as each classroom showcased unique cultures, customs, and fascinating research. To make the experience even more immersive, everyone received a "passport" that was stamped at each stop! What an incredible way to celebrate cultural diversity and global awareness!
Last Wednesday, Elementary parents joined us to celebrate Cultural Week, exploring the vibrant projects and research our students conducted on Egypt, Colombia, Italy, Venezuela, and Greece! Classrooms and hallways were filled with creative displays, crafts, and hands-on activities that captured the essence of each culture. Families enjoyed unique photo opportunities and the chance to experience their children’s enthusiasm and hard work firsthand!
Last week parents joined their children in Nursery and Kinder classrooms to celebrate all the learning and discoveries made during their second Unit of Inquiry! The children shared their knowledge about India, Nigeria, USA, Germany, and China through engaging activities, colorful displays, and hands-on fun during the Cultural Week Expo. From cultural traditions to unique facts, it was a wonderful opportunity for families to see how their children explored and embraced new cultures!

Today, we welcomed Humind, an organization dedicated to mental health, for an insightful talk with our MYP parents. The session focused on strategies to support emotional well-being at home and in our community. We’re grateful for the knowledge shared and the commitment to fostering mental health in our students.
Today, IAB Cumbres celebrated Mexican Day with vibrant colors and patriotic spirit! Students proudly wore traditional Mexican attire and accessories, filling the campus with a festive atmosphere. It was a joyful day of cultural pride, bringing the school community together to honor Mexico's rich heritage and traditions.
Today marks the conclusion of an insightful series of Sex-Ed talks for MYP students, led by Andrea Urdain. We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Erika Alvarez and Ms. Cynthia Nayeli Casteñeda have successfully graduated from the Diplomado en Innovación Educativa at TEC de Monterrey! They embarked on a educational journey, dedicating themselves to mastering the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative teaching strategies.

Week 1 of IABC Summer Camp, "Summer Adventures," was an incredible start to the summer! The kids had a fantastic time engaging in a lot of activities, from creative art projects and thrilling sports to musical sessions and gymnastics. They also explored their culinary skills in cooking classes and enjoyed numerous recreational activities. It was a week filled with laughter, learning, and new friendships. We are ready for more fun and adventures this week!
As the school year comes to an end, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it memorable. To our parents, thank you for your trust and support. To our students, your hard work and enthusiasm have been inspiring. And to our teachers and staff, your dedication and passion have made all the difference. Last Wednesday, we celebrated the MYP graduation with joy and pride. Students, parents, and teachers came together to honor the hard work of our graduates. In their caps and gowns, the graduates received their certificates, marking their achievements. Speeches were given highlighting their educational journey and encouraging them to keep striving for success. Congratulations to all the MYP graduates! We're excited to see what you do next.
Kinder 3 graduation was a joyful and memorable event. The young graduates confidently walked the stage, bringing pride and joy to parents, teachers, and friends.
