Carlos Rossel and Cesar Rivas, part of our IAB Cumbres soccer coaching team, recently participated in a training session led by Coaches’ Voice School, an international platform focused on coach education and professional development in soccer.
Through this experience, they had the opportunity to strengthen their coaching knowledge, explore new approaches, and gain valuable tools to apply in their work with our students.

Yesterday, our campus was filled with white as we came together to celebrate Peace Day at IAB Cumbres. More than just a color, white reminded us of the peace, kindness, and respect we can bring into our community every day.

Last Friday, our IAB Cumbres community participated in the 2026 National Drill, putting our safety protocols into practice and reinforcing the importance of being prepared for emergency situations.

Last week, our Sports Academies students took part in physical assessments conducted by SPORTS AI, giving us valuable insight into their strength, speed, agility, endurance, and overall physical performance.
These evaluations allow us to better understand each student’s abilities, identify strengths and areas for growth, and provide our coaches with objective information to support their training and development throughout the school year. At IAB Cumbres, we continue creating opportunities that help our students grow, improve, and reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Yesterday, we welcomed all of our Phoenixes back to IAB Cumbres, filling our campus once again with familiar smiles, new beginnings, and the excitement of a new school year.
One of the traditions that makes the first day especially meaningful is having our 9th grade students welcome and accompany our youngest Phoenixes to their classrooms. At first glance, it may look like a simple activity, but it carries something much deeper.
For our 9th graders, this is a moment to look back at their own journey, to remember what it felt like to walk into IAB Cumbres when they were little, just as these students are today. As they begin their final year with us, they have the opportunity to give back a little of what they have received throughout their years here.
For our youngest students, it is a chance to feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they take those first steps into a new school year.
It is about belonging, connection, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. It is also a reminder that, after years of growing within our community, our oldest students can now help the youngest find their own place in it.

Last Friday, our Open House at IAB Campus Cumbres was the perfect opportunity for our students to get ready for a new school year. They met their new teachers, discovered their classrooms, reunited with friends, and got familiar with the spaces where they’ll learn and grow throughout the year.

Last week, our new students had the opportunity to meet their tutors and get to know their new school, classrooms, and some of the spaces they will be part of throughout the year.
Now that classes have officially started, their tutors will continue accompanying them during these first weeks, helping them feel more comfortable as they get settled into their new school. This program, led by our Psychology Department, is part of the special welcome we give to every new student at IAB Cumbres.

As we wrapped up another unforgettable Phoenix Summer Camp, our final week, Celebrate Together, reminded us that the best part of summer is sharing it with others. Through games, laughter, creative activities, and special moments, our campers celebrated friendships, teamwork, and everything they accomplished along the way.

This summer marked the launch of the first IAB Sports Clinics. Students had the opportunity to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and enjoy new experiences in Soccer, Basketball, Swimming, and Gymnastics. This initiative reflects our commitment to providing meaningful athletic experiences and continuing to elevate our sports programs.
