During Francophonie Week, our 8th and 9th graders delighted our Preschool, 1st and 2nd graders by reading beloved children's stories in French. It was a joy to see them embrace their favorite tales in a new language!
MYP students showcased their French language skills and cultural insights to parents in our "Francophonie Week 2024". From presentations on diverse topics to sharing the richness of Francophone countries, it was a celebration of learning and cultural exchange.
Sebastien Essomba and Vladimir Stéphane Jean-Baptiste brought the magic of music to our MYP students during "Francophonie Week 2024." Through a vibrant musical presentation, students explored diverse instruments and their cultural roots, singing together and enjoying melodies from places like Morocco, and Haiti.
Last Friday, IABC hosted a scavenger hunt where students from all grades had a blast searching for eggshells and celebrating the arrival of spring with confetti fun!
"Ready, Set... Run!" event at IAB Campus Cumbres was a blast! Our N1-K2 students impressed us with their athletic skills, joined by their teachers, parents, and family. The Color Run brought an exciting element to the celebration, and friendly soccer matches among the parents rounded off a day full of enjoyment and togetherness.

Last Friday's IAB Cumbres Kermesse 2024 was a blast! 🎉 A huge thank you to all our families for their contributions. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and cherished memories. From games to delicious food and an amazing talent show, we had an unforgettable time together!

🦖 Grrrawesome Dinosarts rocked the stage, earning 2nd place in the Fine Arts Challenge and receiving the prestigious Renaissance Award for their outstanding design and performance. Bravo to Camila Rea, Emma Ramirez, Arturo Mendoza, Victoria Garduño, Pablo Pagaza, and Sofia Toledo for their incredible achievements!
🐯 Wonderland Tigers also sparkled bright, securing 4th place in the Service Learning Challenge. Well done to Renata Hernandez, Mario De La Fuente, Alejandra Martinez, Ximena Alva, Frida Martinez, Nicolé Mendoza and Ivana Betancourt for their dedication and hard work!

Our fourth-grade students recently completed their 'How It's Made' Unit of Inquiry. Throughout this unit, they delved into the transformation and utilization of resources, emphasizing the importance of citizen participation in shaping society. The inquiry process guided them to investigate the interdependence of extraction processes, rocks, minerals, and production lines, as well as the use of these natural resources in our daily lives. We express our gratitude to Ms. Mayra, Ms. Areli, Ms. Myat, and Ms. Alice for guiding students through their inquiry during this unit and deepening their understanding of the concepts within their respective subject areas.
Our 1st graders just wrapped up their "Discovering my Home" unit of inquiry, all about how our environment affects living things! 🏡🌳
