Our IAB Cumbres staff participated in the first of two First Aid training sessions, led by Cruz Roja, to equip themselves with essential skills for the safety and well-being of our students. At IABC, we are committed to continuous preparation and readiness to provide the best care for our community in any situation.
We’re in the second week of open classes in our Afternoon Academies! Parents have already enjoyed seeing their children’s progress and dedication in a variety of sports and formative activities during the first round of exhibitions. This week, even more parents joined us to celebrate their children’s growth and achievements. And we’re not done yet—there are still more academies to showcase next week!
Our XMAS Workshops have been filled with beautiful moments as parents join their children in fun, festive activities that bring the holiday spirit to life! It’s been a joy to see families sharing time together and creating wonderful Christmas memories.

Over the past days, IABC students have been bringing the magic of the season to life by decorating the school’s Christmas trees with their handmade ornaments! Each creation, filled with love and creativity, adds a unique touch to our festive celebrations.

Our first Movie Night at IABC, held on November 22nd, was a truly special event, where the community came together to enjoy two showings in a joyful and welcoming atmosphere. It was a heartwarming evening filled with smiles, laughter, and connection. Our MYP students also had a snack sale as part of their community service projects, showing their dedication to making a positive impact. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this night so memorable and meaningful!
Last Friday, we proudly hosted the IABC Appreciation Award Ceremony, celebrating the dedication and years of service of our amazing staff. This year, we were honored to recognize their incredible milestones, including 5 and 15 years of unwavering commitment to our school. Thank you for your passion, hard work, and inspiration!
The IAB Joyful Run was an incredible experience! Last Sunday at Parque Fundidora, the school community from both La Fe and Cumbres campuses came together for an unforgettable 1K and 5K celebration. It was a day filled with energy, laughter, and connection as we ran, cheered, and had fun together. Thanks to everyone who made this event so special!
9th-grade students at IABC proudly presented the Altar de Muertos honoring Carlos Bremer, celebrating his legacy of achievements and the many athletes, artists, and entrepreneurs he supported throughout his life. The students also performed a moving tribute for their parents, with Ivanna Olivares singing “La Llorona¨ alongside the beautiful guitar melody and voice of Teacher Josué. This event highlighted the spirit of gratitude and admiration, beautifully capturing the essence of Día de Muertos in celebration of an inspiring figure.
On Thursday, October 31st, parents of 6th-9th grade joined us on a journey around the world at our MYP Cultural Week Expo! Families explored and learned alongside their students from Africa to the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Parents saw firsthand the hard work of their children as each classroom showcased unique cultures, customs, and fascinating research. To make the experience even more immersive, everyone received a "passport" that was stamped at each stop! What an incredible way to celebrate cultural diversity and global awareness!
Last Wednesday, Elementary parents joined us to celebrate Cultural Week, exploring the vibrant projects and research our students conducted on Egypt, Colombia, Italy, Venezuela, and Greece! Classrooms and hallways were filled with creative displays, crafts, and hands-on activities that captured the essence of each culture. Families enjoyed unique photo opportunities and the chance to experience their children’s enthusiasm and hard work firsthand!
Last week parents joined their children in Nursery and Kinder classrooms to celebrate all the learning and discoveries made during their second Unit of Inquiry! The children shared their knowledge about India, Nigeria, USA, Germany, and China through engaging activities, colorful displays, and hands-on fun during the Cultural Week Expo. From cultural traditions to unique facts, it was a wonderful opportunity for families to see how their children explored and embraced new cultures!

These informative sessions provided valuable insights and fostered important discussions, empowering parents to engage in open conversations with their children about sexual education. Today, we welcomed Humind, an organization dedicated to mental health, for an insightful talk with our MYP parents.
