At IAB Cumbres, we celebrated the closing of the workshop Amor Propio, Amor Familiar: Nutriendo el Corazón y la Mente, led by Julia Bautista and Fabiola Villarreal.
We’re deeply grateful to all the families who committed to this experience with genuine interest in strengthening their personal well-being and that of their families. Each session was filled with reflection, connection, and growth — and the closing was especially emotional, as children proudly handed certificates to their parents.
These shared moments nourished not only our hearts, but also our community. See you at the next edition!

At IAB Cumbres, Kinder 2 and 6th grade students each presented beautiful assemblies celebrating the arrival of spring and International Women’s Day. Kinder 2 brought smiles to everyone’s faces with a joyful song and dance, honoring both the season and the important women in their lives.
6th grade commemorated inspiring women from history and delivered a powerful performance on the importance of caring for our environment. Their assembly also featured special artistic contributions: the IAB Chorus opened with a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem, and the IAB Orchestra captivated the audience with their performance of Vivaldi’s La Primavera (Spring). As part of the celebration, we were proud to recognize the winners of the Design Fair and present them with their diplomas.
Both assemblies were filled with creativity, inspiration, and meaningful messages—a true celebration of talent, values, and community spirit.

Last Week at IAB Cumbres, our Nursery 1 and 2 students proudly wrapped up their Unit of Inquiry with a special closure event where parents were invited to see firsthand what their little ones have been learning. Their stories served as a beautiful reminder of the diversity and richness of the human experience.

Throughout the week, our students engaged in various activities led by the Psychology Department, with Fabiola Villarreal and Laura Martínez, alongside 8th-grade students, focusing on inclusion and empathy. In these sessions, elementary students participated in activities that helped them experience what it’s like to live with a disability, fostering understanding and compassion.
Preschool students also enjoyed interactive storytelling about inclusion, further spreading the values of empathy, respect, and kindness. These hands-on experiences were an enriching part of our Accepting Our Differences Week and strengthened the bond within our IAB Cumbres community.
