CODED Orlando 2024🪐
The MYP students who took part in the CODED educational experience in Orlando, Florida had an amazing opportunity to learn about STEAM and Coding in an exciting setting: Disney and Universal Studios parks, and the NASA Kennedy Space Center. Students participated in competitions in which they showed their skills and talents. Congratulations, students, for all your hard work and achievements.
We also want to thank the teachers who joined them in this great adventure: Miss Ale Pedroza, Teacher Humberto Reyes and Teacher Daniel Bell. Thank you for your care and attention, in making sure students enjoyed the experience and for encouraging them to acquire not only new skills, but new approaches to the way they learn.

This past week, we celebrated and reflected about diversity through workshops and shows for students during our Cultural Week 2024. The community had the opportunity to see and feel how different cultures experience life, leaving them with new perspectives and wonderful memories.

Last week, all the school parents joined the students to the performances by group during the Cultural Week 2024. The students shared their learnings, reflections and inquiries through the week, presenting the countries they researched. Thank you, teachers, for all the effort you put into guiding your students and leading their learning paths. Your passion for teaching can be seen through the achievements of your students, and we appreciate all you do for them.

Day of the Dead Altar
This year, the 9th-grade students in charge of the IAB Day of the Dead Altar chose to honor Pedro Linares, the creator of alebrijes, as their inspiration. We are proud of the skills demonstrated by our 9th-grade students. Thank you students and staff for participating today in our IAB UN Day! It was a fun day in which we valued and celebrated cultural diversity!
Our 30th Anniversary celebration was truly unforgettable, filled with moments that touched our hearts and reminded us of the journey we've shared. Thank you to everyone—students, parents, alumni, teachers, staff, and community members—who gathered with us to honor this milestone.
From joyful workshops to inspiring talks, every moment was a beautiful reminder of how much we've grown together. We are deeply grateful for the love and support that has shaped the IAB community over the years. We are proud to announce that our student, Marian Michel Monsivais, has been awarded the Excellence Scholarship from our school, a recognition given to the student with the highest GPA in 6th grade. Marian's achievements not only stand out in this last school year but have been consistent throughout her time at our school, reflecting her dedication, effort, and love for learning. Last Thursday, September 12th, we started our series of conferences dedicated to mental health, aimed at providing you with essential knowledge to support your children's emotional and psychological wellbeing. The talk was given by Humind, an association specializing in mental health with extensive experience in the field. We believe that the information shared will be very useful and will help strengthen the emotional support you provide to your families. Thank you for being part of the team!

Last Thursday, the IAB staff had an amazing team-building day filled with fun, laughter, and collaboration! From sharing their perspective in the same thing to conquering the parachute, our team showed what true synergy looks like. While working together, we enhance the importance of communication and having a positive environment to our students.
Our campers had amazing activities to wrap up their last week at IAB Summer Camp! As “Future Explorers”, they were curious about their surroundings and were fascinated with all they can learn from it.
