KINDNESS WEEK

Last week, from January 26 to 29, our school proudly participated in The Great Kindness Challenge, a nationwide initiative dedicated to encouraging students to create a culture of compassion, respect, and positivity. Throughout the week, students were invited to complete acts of kindness—both big and small—discovering that every thoughtful action has the power to brighten someone’s day.

This year’s theme, “Powered by Kindness,” reminded our community that each of us has an incredible ability to make a difference simply by choosing to be kind. Whether it was offering a helping hand, sharing a smile, writing a note of appreciation, or including someone new during playtime, students were encouraged to recognize that kindness is a superpower we all possess.

To close out Kindness Week on Thursday, January 29, everyone was invited to come to school wearing bright, cheerful colors and clothing that celebrated kindness. The day ended with a special group photo, where the vibrant colors symbolized the joyful impact of kindness spreading throughout our school. The picture captured more than just smiling faces—it represented the unity, empathy, and positive spirit of our students working together to make the world a better place.

That same day, students also brought their Kindness Friendship Bracelets to exchange with classmates. This activity reminded everyone that kindness connects us, strengthens friendships, and helps build a caring and inclusive community.

Kindness Week may have ended, but its message continues: we are all powered by kindness, and even the smallest act can create a lasting ripple of good.
